Tessa9 September 2026Once in a lifetime Urlaub mit dem besten Guide! Wir haben eine einwöchige Safari über TourCompass gebucht, die von Zara Tours ausgeführt wurde. Unser Guide/Fahrer Ally war super angenehm und hat all unsere Fragen sehr geduldig und ausführlich beantwortet. Er sprach sehr gutes Deutsch und hat uns immer sehr sicher an unsere Ziele gebracht. Unterwegs haben wir die Big Five gesehen und viele weitere Tiere beobachtet. Ally hat immer für alle gewünschten Fotospots angehalten und uns einiges über die Kultur der Maasai erklärt. Wir haben den Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro und Manyara Nationalpark besucht. Außerdem hatten wir Übernachtungen im Ikoma Wild Camp, die ein absolutes Highlight war, da Tausende Zebras, Gnus und Büffel vorbei zogen. Nachts waren eine Giraffe und zwei Büffel direkt am Zelt zu Besuch. Eine rundum gelungene Safari! Sehr zu empfehlen!Posted on Tripadvisor

Kim H9 September 2026Onbeschrijfelijk mooie en bizar/bijzondere ervaring Wij zijn met een groep van 11 man al in Nederland gestart met dit fantastische avontuur. Trainingen en goede voorbereiding. Begeleid door Hans Emmink en Yvonne Rusman van Emmprove. Zij werken al jaren samen met Zara tours en met een vast team van geweldige gidsen en porters onder de fantastische leiding van hoofdgids Filbert. Wat een geweldige organisatie om ons aan alle mogelijke kanten te ondersteunen in deze prachtige maar ook zware tocht. Zonder hun hulp hadden we het nooit kunnen doen. Het heeft ons aan niets ontbroken!! Drie keer per dag fantastisch gevarieerde warme maaltijden, iedere ochtend ontbijt met omelet, pannenkoeken, toast, worstjes en vers fruit. Hoe ze het doen is een groot vraagteken, maar het eten is heerlijk!! Tenten worden iedere dag opgebroken en weer opgebouwd, spullen worden naar boven gebracht. Wij zijn van deze mensen gaan houden!! Een fantastisch avontuur hebben zij ons geboden. De gidsen zijn heel vriendelijk, gezellig, maar bovenal heel kundig en professioneel. Wij hebben ons de hele tocht veilig gevoeld en door de goede adviezen en hulp zijn we allen veilig boven en weer beneden gekomen. We hebben aardig wat uitdagingen moeten trotseren, en aan den lijve ervaren dat deze gidsen tot het uiterste gaan om je veilig te houden. Echt zo’n respect voor deze mannen!! Een bijzondere dank voor gidsen Iddi Swalehe, Paul Magembe (Nzumbi) en Charles David (Charley). Als je de kans krijgt, vraag naar hen!!! Zij zullen je de tijd van je leven bezorgen!! De berg de prachtige omgeving en het behalen van de top is een ervaring om nooit meer te vergeten, maar de mensen er omheen maken het een ervaring om in je hart te sluiten voor de rest van je leven!! ❤️Posted on Tripadvisor

Wir hatten 7 Tage Safari, inklusive 4 Nationalparks (Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Manyara). Wir haben die Big Five alle gesehen. catherine p9 September 2026Wat een topreis! Ik ben afgelopen week op safari geweest met m’n moeder en het was een ontzettend mooie ervaring. De kamer waren top, we hebben prachtige dieren gezien en de mensen zijn super vriendelijk en gastvrij. Ondanks dat al, zijn wij het meest enthousiast over onze gids Papuu. Papuu is vriendelijk, enthousiast, zorgzaam en weet alles. Elke vraag die we hebben gesteld over de dieren, omgeving, planten en zelfs geschiedenis van Tanzania en omstreken wist hij haarfijn te beantwoorden, en wist er nog een hele hoop informatie omheen te vertellen! Verder waren alle transfers en maaltijden netjes geregeld en alles klopte. Zeer goede uitvoering van een strak programma :)Posted on Tripadvisor
Kayleigh29989 September 2026A once in a lifetime, unforgettable experience This is a once in a life time experience, it exceeded our expectations in every way possible. Papuu was our guide and he truly made our trip and we cannot thank him enough, he is incredibly knowledgeable as well as a very experienced driver knowing where to find place us so we had incredible and close up views of all the animals. He really was the star of the show! We visited Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro crater, lake manyara and visited a masai village. All incredible experiences. All the people we met along the way were very approachable and friendly. I am gluten free and they couldn’t be more accommodating making sure I had a special lunch made up and talked me through all the food at tea time. We highly recommend this tour to anyone thinking about it, we don’t have a bad word to say and we were very sad when the experience came to an end. My friends & I were trekking. under Abdi as our chief guide & his team of capable assistant guides ( Luca, Delvina) and his supporting team of cook & porters, all very helpful & encouraging. Without Abdi’s leadership, experience & his team, we would not have enjoyed the trek so much. From the begging i had told Zara that my fiancé and I wanted to exchange rings at the summit and they have done everything possible to make it happen. They even brought a bottle of wine for us to toast at the summit. It was awesome! And a great surprise. Zara has delivered everything I was waiting for: very welcoming employees, trustworthy guides, friendly crew, great food and comfortable tents. We find Godfrey very knowledgeable about wildlife ( from animals to bird life & also about the habitats of where they live) . Godfrey is also a very patient driver, giving us enough time to take photos before moving onto the next stop. He drove very safely on roads that were in bad condition and fwhere the traffic is very heavy & overtaking very difficult but he never took unnecessary risks. Safety V7 September 2026Awesome and worth it The 10 Zara team of guides, porters and cooks were very professional, caring and encouraging. They ensured my team of 3 ladies were well cared for. Abdi, Lukas, Delvina and Sharifa plus the others were all outstanding. Two out of 3 of us made it to Uhuru Peak. Our safety was their number 1 priority and we all made it back safely, satisfied. Our driver Madeal was an excellent guide with specialist knowledge and a genuine desire to give us the best time possible. We got to experience so many animals and got to observe their natural behaviour. Our guide, Amiri, was incredible and could tell us everything we wanted to know - and he was very aware of making our dreams come true - which he definitely did! We are so grateful for this trip, and we highly recommend people to go! It truly was the best trip ever :-)
