Great Kilimanjaro Trekking with Zara and our amazing guides The daily hikes, camps and the summit day were very memorable. We had lower expectations compared to what we experienced. We got great food, so it was easy to eat much, also we had a great team, that set our camps up and supported us all the way. We had 2 great and experienced guides from ZARA adventures (Juma Omari and Issa Chikira). The summit day was hard but the guides helped us to get to the top and we loved the experience!

Fantastic experience What an incredible experience! Rajabu Msangi was our lead guide and he did an incredible job of making sure our group of 6 were happy, healthy and that we all made it to the top. Personally I wouldn't have made it to the top without Raj and his teams help and support as I was quite unwell with altitude sickness. The whole team did an incredible job, the amount of work that goes into the 8 days is quite something and the whole team did an awesome job.

Amazing successful summit of Kilimanjaro. The Kilimanjaro tour led by Rajabu Msangi was amazing, easily the best mountaineering trip I’ve had. The whole team under Rajabu’s guidance worked tirelessly to ensure our group had a successful summit and overall very enjoyable experience. The food prepared was excellent throughout and plentiful to keep our energy levels high. Rajabu and the other guides were very knowledgeable and personable and no effort was spared in ensuring our safety and enjoyment during the trip. Helt igennem fantastisk En helt fantastisk tur til Tarangire, Nonrongoro og Serengeti. Hamsa vores guide var fantastisk formidler og imponerende dygtig til at holde øje med vejen, trafikken og samtidig spotte selv en dik dik i busken under kørslen. Teltet i campen på Serengeti burde vi nok have opgraderet så gulvet var plant, men vi var på den anden side kun der for at sove. Maden bliver man ikke fed af og den er noget ensformig men omvendt kan man nok ikke forvente Michelin stjerner på savannen.

Great organization and quality! Pickup from the airport was smooth and comfortable. The hotel room before the climb was reasonable with air conditioning and was entirely clean. During the climb, our guide Ibra was knowledgeable of major landmarks and the ecosystem. Each day had a consistent meal schedule and the porters carried our baggage and set our tents before we arrived at the next camp. Overall the experience felt like a surreal dream and I have zero complaints!

Extraordinary! It was the most extraordinary travel experience I’ve had so far. Our guides, Ibra and Joseph, were amazing and so friendly, they really helped us get through summit night. The entire group of porters and the cook were also extremely friendly, nothing but praise for them. They deserve all the credit, 10/10!!! So thankful.

Unforgettable safari with Zara Tours My partner and I went on a 10 day safari organized by Zara Tours. Everything was well-organized, staff was very friendly, plenty of delicious food was provided and accomodations were clean and spacious. We were welcomed and well accompanied/guided everywhere. Thanks to our professional driver Rafa, who we strongly recommend, we saw amazing landscapes and so many animals up close while always feeling safe. Going on safari really is an adventure and I believe Zara Tours is the best partner to accompany you during this unforgettable experience.

Amazing holiday in Tanzania We had an amazing 2 weeks holiday arranged by Tour Compass, First week on safari, including Tarangire National Park, Serengeti and the Ngorongoro Crater. our guide Issa was highly experienced with excellent knowledge of the wildlife, geography and history of Tanzania. Issa was friendly and engaging and happy to answer all our questions. Organisation and timing was excellent, often leaving before sunrise allowing us to experience the full and diverse behaviours of the animals. Issa’s experience ensured we saw the ‘Big Five’ and had many ‘Once in a lifetime moments. We would be happy to recommend Issa as a guide. Issa was always happy to go over and above to ensure we got the best possible experience. All the staff we met at all the Hotels in the 2 weeks were incredibly friendly and helpful and the food was diverse, plentiful and delicious.

Core memories made Hello!! Back from my kili trip and just wanted to say I had the most incredible time!!! The guides (Theo, Edgar and Lucas) from Zara were beyond anything I had hoped. We all became like a family and supported each other to all summit!!!! When they say POLE POLE there is a reason, trust the process, it feeling ridiculous at first but you body needs time to adapt. The food was full of flavour and perfect for fuelling, water was always available to fill up bottles at camps and the toilets were clean and A LOT better than what I had been worrying about. Thankyou again!!!

Feedback für Mpole - Ein Guide der Extraklasse! Wir hatten 5 unglaubliche Tage Safari in Tansania mit Mpole und können ihn zu 1000% weiterempfehlen! Mpole war nicht nur ein super toller Guide, sondern darüber hinaus einfach ein toller Mensch. Er hat uns in der Safari alles gezeigt und erklärt, was man sich nur wünschen kann. Kein Tier, keine Pflanze, keine Frage blieb unbeantwortet – man merkt sofort, wie viel Leidenschaft und Wissen er für sein Land und die Tiere hat. Das Besondere war aber, wie gut wir in den 5 Tagen miteinander ausgekommen sind. Es hat sich nicht wie Guide und Gäste angefühlt, sondern wie Familie. Er nimmt sich wirklich Zeit, erklärt alles in Ruhe und mit so viel Herz. Und nicht zu vergessen: Er ist ein hervorragender Autofahrer! Selbst auf den schwierigsten Pisten haben wir uns immer absolut sicher gefühlt und er hat uns immer in die beste Position für Fotos und Beobachtungen gebracht. Wer nach Tansania reist, sollte unbedingt mit Mpole unterwegs sein. Asante sana, Mpole – du hast unsere Reise unvergesslich gemacht!

Papuu is the best! Papuu, the name of the guide is an amazing guide. He knows a lot. And when I say a lot, I mean a lot. He knows when he must be calm and he knows when you want to hear some information about the animals, plants or other things in Tanzania. His English is also good. Just a lovely and funny guy!

5 Tage Safari mit Bruno – Einfach perfekt! Wir hatten 5 unvergessliche Tage Safari in Tansania mit Bruno als unserem Guide und können ihn absolut und ohne Einschränkung weiterempfehlen! Bruno ist nicht nur ein fantastischer Guide mit unglaublichem Wissen über Tiere, Natur und die Kultur Tansanias, sondern auch ein wunderbarer Mensch. Er hat uns alles gezeigt und erklärt, was man sich nur wünschen kann – jede Frage wurde mit so viel Leidenschaft beantwortet. Was uns besonders begeistert hat: Sein Deutsch war unglaublich gut! Alles wurde perfekt und sehr verständlich erklärt, was die Safari noch viel intensiver und persönlicher gemacht hat. In den 5 Tagen haben wir uns so gut verstanden, dass es sich am Ende wie Familie angefühlt hat und nicht wie eine gebuchte Tour. Er nimmt sich Zeit, bleibt ruhig, hat immer ein Lächeln und bringt einen immer an den besten Spot. Wer eine Safari in Tansania plant – fragt nach Bruno! Besser kann man es nicht haben. Vielen Dank für alles, Bruno!

Great adventure We had a wonderful experience here in Tanzania. Not only because of the beauty of the country, but most of all because of our tour guide, Papuu. He went above and beyond to give us the best possible experience. He was very knowledgeable about all the animals and gave us lots of interesting information about everything we saw and let us taste local foods on our way. He was also a great travel companion and made the whole trip even better. Expensive, but definitely worth the experience.

Superb Safari experience ..trip of a lifetime We had an incredible 7 night Safari visiting theTaranguire & Serengeti National Parks and Ngorongoro crater. We were lucky enough to have Issa as our driver & guide.He has been a guide for more than 20 years and has worked with the National Geographic team. His experience and expert knowledge of the local wildlife and their behaviour patterns meant we had a truly unique safari experience. We always left early so we could see animals at their most active and in areas away from the main crowds. Issa had a knack of spotting wildlife and took the most amazing pictures. He was very respectful towards the animals and was so patient. This unfortunately can not always to be said of other younger guides & drivers. Debrief at the end of the day made us reflect on the wonderful experiences that we had and a discussion about following days itinerary was helpful. All of this combined with incredible lodges and hotels staffed by helpful happy staff made it an incredible experience . Highly recommend

Big 5 Safari At first I have to say that our guide Hassan was one of the most sympathetic persons I met here in Tanzania. He had an answer to every question and offered us a safari experience that you don't get everywhere. I am really happy to have met him. With him, the safari was an unforgettable tour that I will not forget my whole life. Thank you for everything Hassan! The hotel and the wild camp were also beautiful places and the people we met there were always kind and sympathetic. I enjoyed this trip very very much and can only recommend it!!!

Trip of a lifetime What an awesome trip!! Not only did I manage to get to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro, I also managed to see the Big 5 in Tarangire NP and the Ngorongoro Crater. My guide for the 6 days on Mount Kilimanjaro was Lubava. What a legend he is! Knowledgable, accommodating and very funny. It is worth pointing out that when I booked this trip with Zara Tours, I did consider a number of other companies too, who I got to see at the various checkpoints up the mountain. Having seen their trekker-to-guide ratio, quality/size of tents etc, I am so pleased that I booked with Zara Tours.

7 day Kilimanjaro via Rongai route trip This was an amazing trip. A chance of a lifetime. Festo, our guide, was a very knowledgeable, caring, clear, and fun. The assistant guide Miki was very helpful and knowledgeable as well. He will make a great head guide. They both were very concerned about our health which made us all more confident. Festos team of porters, cooks and organizers were top notch, efficient, helpful and happ to help. I highly recommend Zara and especially Festo and his team.
