We had the most incredible experience on our Tanzania safari and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better trip. We were lucky enough to see the Big Five, which was absolutely amazing, but every aspect of the safari was enjoyable from start to finish. Our guide was fantastic — extremely knowledgeable, accommodating and friendly. He went above and beyond to make sure we had the best possible experience, sharing so much knowledge about the animals, the landscape and the local area. He made the whole experience even more enjoyable and memorable. The trip was exactly what we had imagined a Tanzania safari would be and, in many ways, exceeded our expectations. From the incredible wildlife and scenery to the organisation and our guide, everything came together perfectly. We had an amazing experience on this safari! The guide was meeting our wishes and was very friendly! He could answer all of our questions. The hotel and camp were clean and the staff was friendly. The time schedule was good. The food was good, the lunch could have been a little more/fresher (the hot food got cold and the cold food got warm). We had a four day safari and we were completely blown away with all we seen and how excellent Zara Tours were! Our pick up and drop offs were timely and always an agreed time. The car was always clean and comfortable. Lunch and water were provided. The locations were jaw dropping and it was amazing to see animals in different settings from the Serengeti to Manyara National Park. Our guide, Bakari or ‘Boka’, was absolutely unreal - we got to see the big five and he was so warm, helpful and knowledgeable about the Serengeti and the Ngorogoro Crater. He had 20 years experience and it really showed - he knew the best routes and seemed to have know about where the animals were! He respected the wildlife whilst making sure we got an excellent view of each of the big 5! He truly made our experience all the better and his patience and kindness was faultless. We can’t appreciate Zara tours enough for making this a trip of a lifetime!

As a team of three individuals of varying ages, abilities, and zero prior high-altitude climbing experience, successfully completing a 6-day climb felt like a monumental goal. Hemedi and Saidi’s decades of combined experience and deep technical skill were evident every single day. Their pacing, attentive care, and encouragement ensured that every one of us reached the summit safely and comfortably. Without this father-son duo and their hardworking porters, our trip would not have been the complete success it was. Our great tour guide Hamza from Zara Tours offered us and the two other super kind women in our vehicle an incredible 5 day safari experience. What an amazing experience. This pushed me to my limits, it was the hardest thing I have ever done but was so rewarding reaching the top. Big shout out to our guides and porters, they do such an amazing thing. To be able to pack up camp and have it set up again before our next arrival, wow. Thanks for the support from our guides, Theo, Luca, Edgar and Zengu. They were amazing, keeping everyone motivated throughout the hike. I would highly recommend Evertrek or Zara adventures for this trip. You have to ask for the above guides though 😜.
